Each Excedrin® Migraine pill contains:

  1. Acetaminophen, a pain reliever and fever reducer that works by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body that cause pain and fever

  2. Aspirin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing inflammation and swelling

  3. Caffeine, a stimulant that helps to improve blood flow to the brain, which can help to reduce the severity of migraine headaches.

The combination of these three active ingredients in Excedrin® Migraine works to provide fast and effective relief from migraines. Acetaminophen and aspirin work together to reduce pain and inflammation, while caffeine helps to improve blood flow to the brain and increase the effectiveness of the other two ingredients.

How Does Excedrin® Migraine Work?

Excedrin® Migraine is available as a tablet and it's recommended to take it as soon as a migraine headache begins. The usual dose is two tablets, which contains a total of 500mg of Acetaminophen, 250mg of Aspirin and 65mg of Caffeine. It's important to follow the dosing instructions on the package and not to exceed the recommended dose. Taking more than the recommended dose of Excedrin® Migraine can cause side effects such as stomach upset, bleeding, and acetaminophen overdose.

Is Excedrin® Migraine Safe?

Excedrin® Migraine is generally considered safe for most adults to use, but there are a few groups of people who shouldn't take it. It's recommended to consult with your doctor before taking Excedrin® Migraine if you are:
