Lisinopril can interact with some medicines. It’s always recommended to provide both your doctor and pharmacy with an updated list of everything you’re taking to identify any potential drug interactions.

Some medicines that lisinopril can interact with include:

  • Diuretics

  • Potassium supplements

  • Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

  • Antidiabetic drugs

If you accidentally miss your dose of Lisinopril, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the usual time. Don't take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

Lisinopril can be taken with or without food.

During pregnancy: Lisinopril should be avoided during pregnancy due to the risk of fetal toxicity.

While breastfeeding: It is not recommended to use lisinopril while breastfeeding. Consult your healthcare provider for guidance.
